Phil & Tatiana Turcanu of Maslin Academy approached me with their mission of transforming the tutoring experience through a human-centered, holistic approach. They needed a brand and digital presence that would attract the right clients by effectively communicating their dedication to bridging educational gaps left by traditional systems.

Our process began with an in-depth discovery call, during which Phil shared his passion for education and his frustrations with conventional tutoring methods.
We captured these insights in a Clarity Document, outlining Maslin’s purpose, mission, vision, and values. This served as a blueprint for aligning all aspects of the brand identity.

We then explored creative directions through wordmapping, identifying key themes like “reaching the peak”, “bridging the gap” and “taking steps toward your goal”.
These concepts became the foundation for developing Maslin Academy’s visual and verbal identities.

The design phase was a collaborative process that ensured alignment with Maslin Academy’s ethos.
Never keeping my clients in the dark, I developed concepts for logos that followed the brand narratives of growth, knowledge and success. Legible, professional and inviting fonts and colours where selected, and refined to perfectly convey Phil and Tatiana’s mission and values.

With the brand identity finalized, I crafted a comprehensive Style Guide to ensure consistent brand communication across all platforms.
We then launched Maslin Academy’s new look through an engaging website and tailored social media advertising assets, equipping the young brand to effectively communicate and grow their client base.
